Whether it's a slow leak that's been eating your subfloor for weeks or a flooded basement at 2am, our Montauk crews are already moving. We dispatch Montauk units carrying industrial extraction pumps, air movers, and commercial dehumidifiers already loaded on the truck.
Too many Montauk, NY families have called a big national number only to get bounced through hold music before a random subcontractor shows up hours later, so Hirex Water Damage built its Montauk operation differently. Every technician on our Montauk roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our crew leads carry IICRC water restoration certifications and have logged real hours on Category 1, 2, and 3 losses, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Montauk isn't a side service we tacked on โ it's the reason the company exists. We carry full general liability coverage and are licensed to operate throughout Montauk, NY, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Our Montauk, NY-based equipment cache means drying gear is already close by, not stuck in a truck three states away.
Anyone in Montauk who has had a supply line fail overnight knows the real cost isn't the leak itself, it's how long the standing water sits before someone with the right equipment arrives. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Montauk call at a time.
Not every leak announces itself with a flooded floor. A lot of the worst damage we see in Montauk started small and got ignored for weeks. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
Recognizing one of these signs early is the difference between a contained repair and a gutted room, so call our Montauk team and get a straight answer on how urgent it is.
We size the Montauk response to the actual damage โ a single-room extraction gets a two-person crew, a commercial loss gets the full fleet โ nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Truck-mounted extraction equipment on every Montauk rig pulls high volumes of standing water fast, so drying starts the same day instead of the next. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once water is out, we bring in commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers, positioned using psychrometric readings rather than guesswork, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
On the residential side in Montauk, we handle the flood-cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so your home is ready to rebuild, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Montauk businesses and property managers get a dedicated project lead, after-hours crews, and equipment scaled to square footage rather than a single-crew response โ we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Blackwater losses in Montauk get handled under strict Category 3 protocol: containment, PPE, antimicrobial application, and documented disposal of contaminated materials.
On top of standard drying, our Montauk crews treat affected materials to reduce mold risk and will be upfront if a section needs specialist remediation.
We quote the job before equipment gets plugged in, so there's no surprise line item buried in the final invoice.
Our Montauk, NY warehouse keeps drying equipment close, which typically puts a Montauk tech at your door inside an hour.
Our paperwork is built to match what adjusters expect, and we'll speak with your insurer directly on your behalf.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider a Montauk job done, and getting there again is on us, not you.
A short call with our Montauk dispatcher tells us whether this is a one-room job or a multi-crew response before anyone drives out.
The closest available technician is routed to your Montauk property with equipment staged and ready.
Standing water comes out first; drying equipment gets placed only after we've mapped exactly where moisture is hiding.
Daily moisture checks continue until every affected material reads dry, and you get a complete report at the end.
Every Montauk job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
You'll find that exact commitment printed on your Montauk paperwork, not just mentioned over the phone. We try to send the original technician back for any follow-up so you're not re-explaining the job to someone new.
